If you’ve tried meditation, how did it help?

Only did 5 minutes in another app, although I’m wondering if I was letting the thoughts pass or if I was bringing them up.

I’m hoping that meditation will allow me to focus on the moment, and to relieve my stress and anxieties when they come

To be able to focus on the moment and be able to stop my self before spiralling out of control.

I’m hoping to focus my thoughts. Control my stress better. And train myself to overcome my inner critic.

Quiet the racing thoughts.. find a way to put my mind at ease

It was a good way to quieten and sharpen the mind

Helps calm me down when I am feeling stressed

Me more in the present and control the inner critic by focusing on the task at hand rather than negative thoughts

It has made me feel calmer in the past.

To manage negative emotions and live in the moment

To be able to handle high pressure situations

To manage negative thoughts and accept that i am good enough both outside and inside the bedroom.

I’d like to be able to control by thought patterns without judgement

I’d like to get to a point that I can control what’s going on in my mind that I’m able to relax and address any situation be it emotionally, physically or sexually

To be in the present

it’s definitely helped me to calm my thoughts and stay present

It has helped me to focus on certain things while leaving everything else behind.

To shift my perspective on myself

I’ve meditated(actually just sitting still)in the past,and it’s worked wonders.Sensory deprivation is the ticket so closing eyes helps a lot(I’ve even used ear plugs in the past in a share house).It has to be done every day.It’s easy enough to make a little time,just like going to the toilet or eating every day.Just be still,whatever that looks like for you.
