Porn affects erection quality

Watching porn is how I inflict self harm instead of the knife these days lol

Anxiety about past issues absolutely create worries about the current situation. It’s self fulfilling

Its interesting to hear that porn consumption is not the issue, but rather an underlying emotional tether to a past trauma/psych issue. It gives me a little hope that maybe after calming down and taking my time i can still enjoy self pleasure with porn in .oderation without worrying its affecting my dick’ s.effectiveness

Using porn or masterbation to pass time or to make myself feel better.

That porn has desensitised me

From reAl sex

Turns out that focusing on porn fantasies during sex can be a distraction likely to cause ED, rather than the one thing that will arouse and cause climax. It’s better to be in the moment with your partner.

Watching porn is sometimes done to fulfil a different need

This hit home with me. I use porn as my coping technique and I’ve had times where I’ve needed it in order to cum inside my wife. I need to find better ways to cope and stay in the moment

Porn as a stress relief and coping technique

Desensitised

I struggle to let go of the claim that porn desensitizes you.

not feeling ‘addicted’ but somehow still struggling to not watch it

That porn isn’t affecting my sex life. It’s not the sole blame but it is one.

I get in the cycle of watching porn to get in the mood then during sex my head is going from scene to scene trying to remember one that will turn me on enough to finish

My main issue is how porn seems to click a part in my brain that hyper focused and I just lose time
