So, I have recently started dating again after a while. I lost a lot of weight over the year and this has certainly still left me with some confidence issues. The first time I tried to have sex with a new girl I’d been seeing I had drunk too much and put my lack of performance down to this. We tried again a couple days later in the morning but when I went to grab a condom I lost my erection. This was quite upsetting and so next time we hooked up I took sildenafil. I just wanted some confidence and it worked! I had an erection the whole time, although I never finished, but I put that down to drinking some more than anything else. I did find my mind wondering at some points which I want to work on, but now I’m left seeking some advice. I don’t want to take a pill every time, has anyone had similar experiences, using something to help them start to feel confident before moving on? What should my next move be?

I’m in the same boat as you with the pills. I don’t really know what the answer is. I’ve been trying to lower the dosage by cutting the pills in halves and then thirds. So that I slowly wean off it. In the meantime I’m increasing the amount of meditation that I do.

The pills give me so much confidence, because I KNOW it’s going to work and I feel so good about myself when I f\*ck for an hour straight. But just like you I also don’t always cum when I’m on the pills.

I think at there is no magic bullet.
