This was fun. My monkey mind was very interested in my sex life.
I’m with you on that’s. Mine mind is shooting all over the place constantly. Not one thought is in there long enough to process.
I feel one of this apps major faults is noy taking adhd or autism into consideration.

Great exercise to just allow, which it’s important sometimes especially when things get a littte tense
one step aside -
makes a big difference
Good meditation, made me sleepy
Like being about to sleep
I was very in and out of observation. My mind wanders a lot
Good to spend a lot of time bringing my attention back and then wandering off again
Currently didn’t have any things on my mind at the time so I think it’s best to do the exercise when the problem is present
A good exercise to bring some clarity to my busy head, and just for that moment empty it out and feel at peace
It was less loud then usual but I understand that there’s usually the same couple of things that I’ll be thinking about it terms of past actions and future worries
I felt really good around the middle. I find it funny and now know why it is called monkey mind
Its not easy to detach, needs more practice but I see why its useful
Here’s how my thoughts responded to this:
At the beginning I was thinking about all the jobs I had to do today.
About half way through I started to observe my thoughts, which made my mind conjure up deliberately silly thoughts (as if my mind was saying “you want to observe me? Here you go, I’m playing PONG with a foot and using your brain like a yo-yo”).
But in the final leg of the meditation I felt my mind actually calm down and let go of those silly thoughts, I began to observe the true thoughts that didn’t feel forced. Some of these thoughts were sexual, some were self critical, others were just benign.
It was certainly an interesting meditation, and I feel calmer after simply observing the madness in my mind.
I keep going in and out of the observer’s POV, sometimes I get right there with the monkey. But achieving those little pockets of space feels great.
That it’s all over the place.
I did feel like I was observing but didn’t realise I was actually just moving parallel with it. I didn’t feel distance, more of a close up exterior perspective
So much going on in it today. Jumping from thing to random thing, but this practice helped calm it a bit
This session was fascinating. Went for the 10-minute meditation and was greeted by the same ramping chaos as last time, almost overwhelmingly so, but, as I took it in and kept observing, it gradually ramped down. By the end of the session, I was just imagining a vacant crosswalk with some litter strewn about.
