Throughout the past year, I’ve had two girlfriends and a few hookups. Didn’t use condoms with one girlfriend, and had zero issues with getting hard or maintaining an erection. With the other girlfriend, I would frequently get soft as soon as I put the condom on and struggle to maintain the erection. I’m young and in college, and I feel like this kind of thing shouldn’t be happening. Had some embarrassing moments with a recurring hookup where I would lose the erection once I got the condom on. I have some serious condom anxiety now…so I lm trying to regain control. Anyone else in a similar boat? Would love to hear. Thanks. :,)

Im in a similar situation. Whats helped me is practicing putting on condoms when im alone to get comfortable with the feeling of having them on even if im soft.
Ive also done meditation with them on or even just holding the wrapper and visualzing positive thoughts to rewire the brain helps too.
Im still struggling with this issue but ive notice improvements. Best of luck mate!

Had this, too, in my younger days. The pressure to be speedy with the condom would shift my mind away from being present and I’d lose the erection.
Having it open and re-starting foreplay would allow me to regain hardness and then it would be with less pressure as the condom is out and ready to apply

The pressure to find it, get it out, rip the package, roll it out felt immense and I’d always lose my erection.
But returning to her and to the foreplay would allow me to regain hardness and the condom would be ready to apply.
Have a plan for the situation. When getting into bed (or on the couch as it were) have it nearby, package already ripped.
