I used stop-start yesterday for 10 minutes, had porn on to start, but I know it’s discouraged so I turned it off after the first couple of minutes.

I normally use porn for masturbation, probably once per week. I’m 42, married, have sex once or twice a week usually. Just had a vasectomy and now that I don’t wear condoms I’m here to work on lasting longer naturally.

I limit social media so I’m not triggered by thirst traps nearly as much, and I am not on the computer every night like I would have when i was young man. I recognize the effects and limit, but as I’m thinking about practicing this, I need to be aroused enough to have to control the arousal.

Is it really that big of a deal to use a couple minutes of a video to get in the mood?

Hi bud, the question you should be asking is why you need the porn to get going, not the amount. I’m 43, married for over a decade with two kids. I’ve been struggling with ED and GAD. My labido is in the toilet and I find it difficult to get erections, never mind strong ones and have been using porn way too much. So I’ve set myself a challenge, no porn, no masturbation and 1 hour of social media a day for a week. Then recap, review and take it from there. I knew porn wasn’t the long term answer for me and I wanted to change that. I would strongly suggest you look into why you need porn to get erections to start
