Seeking Reverse Kegels Input

So I’ve been feeling like I’ve forgotten how to properly do reverse kegels. A while back I really felt I had it, but these days I feel like I’m just straining my belly, with a tiny touch of the pushing down of reverse kegels. Previously it felt like just the pushing down of the diaphragm, without the straining. It felt proper.

Do you guys have similar issues?
Especially of you guys who feel you’re able to do it properly, do you have any tricks like mental images or such?
I’d like to get back to doing it properly, that it feels right.

Really focus on getting a slow, deep breath way down in your lower belly. That helps me. It may be that you’re breathing in too quickly and shallow? You also may not be feeling it as much because your pelvic floor isn’t as tight anymore. Good luck!

Hey, thanks for the tip. The slow deep belly breath helped me a lot.
Not sure if we’re “supposed” to take in a belly breath or smth, I just felt I “had to” be able to do it regardless of breathing. I’ll try to keep this approach in mind going forward, that should help me get a better feeling for it again.
