What are your ideas for providing yourself with distraction when bored?

When I’m bored, I try to not default to the cheap dopamine stuff like porn or mindless scrolling anymore. I do either something useful, quick tidy, laundry, a short walk, gym, meal prep, or I pick something actually absorbing like a show, a book, a game, cooking, or calling a friend. If I catch the urge to just watch something, I pause and ask myself if I’m genuinely horny or just bored, stressed, lonely, procrastinating. Just as this app said so and it’s working out really well for me and I’m much more self aware. If it’s boredom, I switch tasks and let the urge pass instead of feeding it.
