Has this changed over time or stayed the same?
My companion answers 95% of my needs. The only thing missing is that he continues to be confused about being in a relationship at all. He has trouble being sad about loosing his wife and being happy to be together. I have no issue with his moments of sadness. We have a great time together and then sadness might grab him. He was married for a long time and she was ill for years. Not easy to deal with. I can just be with it and wait for it to pass. Sometimes he goes home sometimes he stays. Whatever works!
