Were some senses easier to focus on than others?

What I could see, feel, hear, smell and taste, which brought me into the present moment
I feel more grounded
What I could see in my room, feel, hear, smell and taste. I feel more grounded now
Tuning into my senses one at a time, I feel a bit more grounded and less flighty
I focused on the temperature around me and how it felt on my skin and how my breathing became slower and shallower as I relaxed
Ive tried and tried this technique for years n have never found it helpful with anxiety
The taste of my mouth
It didn’t help. It actually made me more anxious
How cold the room is
I tried to focus on my breathing but just couldn’t concentrate
I focused on each sense and eventually my own relaxed deep breathing
I focused on the sound around me and the cold of the room
Being open.
