Last night in bed I couldn’t get hard dueing foreplay with my partner. I also am barely able to cum during penetrative sex
My girlfriend told me last night that her ex had a massive penis. I’ve never had any complaints and actually often complemented, but this has made me suddenly feel Less Than. I guess we are what we are and i cant change it but its hit my sexual confidence pretty hard.
My girlfriend arrived drunk and horny. Her desire for sex put a lot of pressure on me and I couldn’t get into the moment and get hard
I may have failed with an erection at times, but not always. I need to get out of the all or nothing mindset.
That we HAVE to have sex/ejaculate every 48 hours for successful fertility treatment - it’s only a guideline, one of so many variables and I an only do what is viable
I was meeting up with my girlfriend after a weekend apart. I did t have that restful of a weekend and had felt with some automotive trouble during the day. I was also thinking about our planned evening together any that I wasn’t feeling that horny. I tried to do the tricks, breath work, 5 senses, but the anxiety of the day and knowing I had another stressful work week coming up was just too much. I knew this going into the evening and decided to just focus on her pleasure. It worked at first, we were making out I was into it, then I went down on her, but when it came time for me even though I was turned on, I just couldn’t do it. I went soft, so she went down on me to help me recover, it worked and I was able to finish, so a win overall. I know I let the negative though loop and inner critic win, but really I didn’t give myself permission to just be honest about how I was feeling because I don’t always have to want sex. It’s just my need to not let anyone down, and I made up the rest which was a self fulfilling prophesy.
I definitely in the all or nothing bracket once it takes over I’m gone and no way of getting back
I fall into the mind reading and disregarding the positive area. My ex repeatedly says she didn’t leave because of sex and that I was fine. I just don’t believe it. I wasn’t happy with my performance so I assumed she didn’t either.
I get frustrated when I lose it and hard to get back on track I can talk to my partner who knows I’m using this therapy and she said she is proud I’m going something about it but I still fear that I will keep failing
I don’t like this exercise.. feels vague and don’t think it adds any value unfortunately
I feel disappointed in myself when I want to have sex with my partner and I either lose my erection or struggle to get one but my partner knows I’m trying to get help with this therapy and says she’s proud of me. However, that feeling that she blames herself or feels that she’s not enough for me feels me with sadness because she is the best thing to happen to me.
I feel frustrated when I cant cum. I think theres a mixture of relying on porn and performance pressure where I feel like i cant perform well.
Last time I got nervous and wasn’t really in the mood I felt bad about it. I realize it’s ok to not feel in the load and we had sex later on in the weekend and then again later in the day and it’s crazy how much my mind played a role
That something is fundamentally wrong with me, rather than this being a moment in time and part of exploring who I am. I get frustrated when I can’t get aroused when I’m with a very attractive partner, but I have to trust that not getting hard is just part of where I’m at right now, and I can still have a good time during intimacy
The idea that my problems will last forever or at least until my partner will get bored of it and leave me. I have no evidence of this and actually I have seen some improvement since a few weeks ago.
Is impossible to recover , Been having this issue since last 15 years. I am giving this a last shot, otherwise I think i will be permanently broken.
The erections issues I had with my last girlfriend are pretty much gone with my new GF.
While I have been on a negative streak for the last few months, prior to that, I had absolutely no issues with getting hard enough for penetration and lasting through ejaculation. I just need to stop overgeneralizing and fortune telling.
I focus on the 2 times I was unable to get hard in a sexual situation and ignore the hundreds of successful times, my negativity spirals and makes me scared. The standards I set for myself are unreasonable
The fear that my partner will leave me if it happens again
