I have used 4-7-8 box breathing before to help fall asleep. The 4-4-4-4 method has helped to calm me.

Never thought something like this would work for me, glad I gave it a shot it helps so much. Also never knew about that feeling in the pelvic region but I can already feel the naturalness of it all coming back

For some reason, I’ve always had a mental block that breathwork, like most accepted scientific techniques, won’t work on me because I already β€œknow all the tricks.” I’m finally trying it in earnest and it’s already growing on me.

Honestly never really thought about breath work too much because I tend not to be patient enough for this but I’m so surprised at how effective this was. I was monitoring my heart rate to see if there was an actual change and I went from 100+ BPM before starting to 75 BPM when I finished. I think I’ll keep this up for sure.

Got rid of my feelings of stress and tension

Calming and holding stomach helped me feel more in my Gooch area some reason

Good. I have trouble holding after exhaling. I seem to inhale faster
