I have used 4-7-8 box breathing before to help fall asleep. The 4-4-4-4 method has helped to calm me.
Never thought something like this would work for me, glad I gave it a shot it helps so much. Also never knew about that feeling in the pelvic region but I can already feel the naturalness of it all coming back
For some reason, Iβve always had a mental block that breathwork, like most accepted scientific techniques, wonβt work on me because I already βknow all the tricks.β Iβm finally trying it in earnest and itβs already growing on me.
Honestly never really thought about breath work too much because I tend not to be patient enough for this but Iβm so surprised at how effective this was. I was monitoring my heart rate to see if there was an actual change and I went from 100+ BPM before starting to 75 BPM when I finished. I think Iβll keep this up for sure.
