What has stopped you from communicating what you need to be able to orgasm during partnered sex?

I’m afraid that by voicing that I’m not being satisfied, the shame or sadness he might feel could just make it harder to have fun, care free chemistry when we have sex, which in turn will make it harder for me to feel comfortable and orgasm. I don’t want him to over think it and ruin the fun of sex.

I genuinely don’t know what would help me with a partner. Everything does feel good, it just doesn’t build to an orgasm

I worry about his ego. Also there is only so many different ways to ask for the same thing!

Shame I guess? Embarrassment

I guess taking up space and asking for what I want

Not wanting to devalue their input by saying I never get there & the confidence during to say I want something else or more of something

I have never been able to and so I don’t feel comfortable focusing on my pleasure

I’ve only ever been able to orgasm through penetration with a partner, what they do does feel good but I’ve never been able to get there that way

I have no problem on my own, but as soon as someone else is with me I just cannot do it. I have no idea what I’m doing differently!

Sometimes I don’t KNOW what I want or how to communicate it. Or it feels like an inconvenience.

I have a hard time communicating during sex because I have a hard time talking when I’m receiving and I also am very submissive and asking for what I want doesn’t rly occur to me

I now bring my vibrator and lube to dates: i tell them up front that I need to orgasm You f theu want a second date. But in the past the sex event has been so male pleasure centered that my orgasm has seemed inconsequential- I’m changing that.
